An homage to a great day at the Boston Athenæum written by Pushcart Award-winning, Jill McDonough, MFA, Assistant Professor of English, College of Liberal Arts, University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Recounting an exchange between the author, a City of Boston meter maid found hiding out in the ladies' room at the Athenæum, and the head of Security, it begins humorously enough, and strays into uncharacteristically ribald territory for the traditionally Brahman institution.
Hand- and Linotype-set in Garamond types and letterpress printed in two colors on third-sheets of Zerkall Book with three deckle, and one cut edge. The first 15 have the Zerkall watermark right-bottom.
When the press run was complete, the the slugs were remelted, and the type was distributed.
This edition is strictly limited to 31 copies.
