Hand- and Linotype-set letterpress poetry broadside of “A March” by poet and educator Ishion Hutchinson.
Hutchinson, a professor at Cornell, is published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux from whom permission was granted to publish a 50 copy edition.
The edition was signed by Hutchinson lower right above the pencilled limitation.
Twelve copies numbered 2/50 through 13/50 are available for sale.
Printed in two colors on mouldmade Hahnemühle Ingres paper in metallic PMS 871 gold, and black ink.
The types are 72pt Reiner Script for the title, and 36pt L for the lead in. The body of the poem is set by hand in 12pt Trump Mediäval and Kursiv newly cast in Germany and laid in cases earlier this year. This is the first project using this type. The colophon was set on the Linotype in 10pt Mediäval.
